Single-page health awareness poster

This self-directed sample was created to demonstrate accessible patient-facing health communication. The poster distils skin cancer prevention into four clear, actionable messages: sunscreen use, protective clothing, shade during peak UV hours, and avoiding sunbeds. It is supported by simple iconography and a plain-language prompt on when to see a doctor.

Clinical claims have been verified, and I opted for a UK statistic, and localised the terminology and spelling for a UK readership. I also applied accessibility principles, including ensuring colour contrast and that the overall design held up in greyscale.

Outcome: A clinically accurate, UK-appropriate awareness piece with its headline statistic verified against Cancer Research UK.
